Innsbruck at your feet -
Celebrate your nuptials above the clouds on the slopes of the Seegrube
area
As a former residence of emperors and princes on the one hand and host
city for the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics on the other, Innsbruck has
strong associations with both history and sports. It boasts not only a
registry office that is exceptionally situated in its very heart, under
the historic "Golden Roof", but also a sweeping panoramic view
from nearly 2,000 metres, where the Seegrube mountain restaurant is located,
a true gem above Innsbruck.
The city's favourable position at the intersection of two large alpine
valleys, framed by massive mountain ranges, is well-suited to special
events like your wedding.
You will not be celebrating your nuptials in some out-of-the-way location,
but at a point overlooking a world-famous city. A scenic ride with the
festively decorated "Nordkette" cable car will take you to the
Seegrube restaurant, where you are welcomed with a glass of "Prosecco"
and where you can take your time and enjoy the view out over the Inn and
Sill valleys, the Europe Bridge, and, last but not least, over the city
of Innsbruck - even at night.
I can assure you that this is an experience you will not forget in a hurry
and hence nor your birthday. Whether it is for a big party or an intimate
celebration for two - this venue is perfect for all those who do not fancy
trekking all the way to Hawaii to find the extraordinary.
